Plaza Retail REIT announces retirement of trustee

FREDERICTON, April 4, 2014 /CNW/ - Plaza Retail REIT ("Plaza" or the "Trust") (TSX:PLZ.UN) today announced that Richard Hamm has retired from the board of trustees of Plaza.  Mr. Hamm has served as a director of Plazacorp Retail Properties Ltd. (predecessor of the Trust) since February 2, 1999.   Earl Brewer, Plaza board chairman, says "Richard has been with us since the inception of Plaza and we would like to thank him for his sincere support over the years, in many ways making Plaza what it is today."
