BELOEIL, QC, Nov. 19, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Opération Enfant Soleil is proud to partner with Bonneville Homes, a Quebec industry leader that has a major philanthropic focus. This year, the family-owned and -operated business, which has been building custom homes in Quebec for over 50 years, is joining our loyal partners in the 23rd Maison Enfant Soleil project. The one-of-a-kind Bonneville Homes model, which was specially designed for Opération Enfant Soleil, was unveiled this morning. The home can be visited in March 2015 at the Montreal National Home Show. In addition to the fully decorated and furnished home, the winner of the Maison Enfant Soleil draw will receive a cash prize for the purchase of a lot located in the city of their choice.
Valued at $550,000, the Maison Enfant Soleil is made possible through the generosity and support of our partners, including Sears Canada, furniture supplier and official decorator, and TD, main supplier of the cash prize for the lot purchase.
Tickets cost $10 and will be available starting January 2015 through partners in our provincial ticket sales network, such as RE/MAX, Sears Canada, Familiprix and TD. Tickets will also be available through the Opération Enfant Soleil website.
At the unveiling, Opération Enfant Soleil spokesperson Joël Legendre took the opportunity to introduce his Maison Enfant Soleil project partner Liana Adam, an Enfant Soleil and the project ambassador. Liana has spinal muscular atrophy, a condition characterized by muscle weakness and atrophy.
Dany Bonneville, Co-President of Bonneville Homes, was very proud to announce his continued partnership with Opération Enfant Soleil for the next three years:
When my grandfather started Bonneville Homes, his mission was to help young families by making home ownership a possibility for everyone. Today, by working with Opération Enfant Soleil, we are still helping families—this time, families with sick children. My grandfather also started the tradition of naming the models of houses after his children and grandchildren. In honour of that practice, we have decided to name the Maison Enfant Soleil model Liana. |
Last year, nearly $1.7 million was raised through Maison Enfant Soleil ticket sales. Maison Enfant Soleil draws have raised almost $17 million since the first edition. The 2015 draw will take place live on TVA's "Salut, Bonjour!" on July 16.
