POLICE CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR MISSING ORANGEVILLE WOMAN
ORANGEVILLE, ON, Aug. 31 /CNW/ - On August 30, 2010 Orangeville Police Service officers began an investigation into the disappearance of 42 year old Sonia VARASCHIN of Orangeville. She had failed to show up to work as expected that day.
Sonia VARASCHIN's white Toyota Corolla had been found parked in an alley way near Broadway Street at approximately 10 AM that morning. Officers saw what appeared to be blood on her car and at her Spring Street residence.
Sonia VARASCHIN is described as being approximately 5'1" tall, 125 lbs, brown hair with lighter coloured streaks. A photograph of Sonia VARASCHIN is attached to this release (http://files.newswire.ca/156/PA200086.JPG).
The Orangeville Police Service is working in partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) under the direction of Detective Inspector Mark Pritchard.
