Pollard Banknote Awarded Exclusive Instant Ticket Contract by the Cyprus
Government Lottery

WINNIPEG, June 23 /CNW/ - The Cyprus Government Lottery has awarded Pollard Banknote a contract for the production of instant lottery tickets. Under this agreement-which comprises an initial term of two years and includes two additional one-year renewal options-Pollard Banknote will serve as the Cyprus Government Lottery's exclusive supplier of instant tickets, providing services such as game design, ticket production, marketing support, and strategic planning.

The Cyprus Government Lottery was established shortly after the Independence of Cyprus in 1960 and entered the instant ticket market in 1979. The Lottery operates in accordance with the Cyprus Government Lotteries Law and Regulations. Net profit from Lottery operations is transferred into the Consolidated Fund of the Government of Cyprus, from which the government budget is financed.
