Pollard Banknote Awarded Primary Instant Ticket Contract with the Connecticut Lottery Corporation

WINNIPEG, Sept. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - Pollard Banknote Limited (TSX: PBL) (Pollard Banknote) is pleased to be named the primary instant ticket supplier for the Connecticut Lottery Corporation. Under this agreement Pollard Banknote will design and print instant tickets and provide associated marketing-related materials and services for the Connecticut Lottery Corporation.

The five-year contract, with provisions for two additional one-year extensions, began August 29, 2012 and carries an expected minimum value of $14 million over the life of the agreement. Pollard Banknote has worked closely with the Connecticut Lottery Corporation since 2002, and has helped the Lottery increase its instant ticket sales to record levels with an exceptionally strong lineup of core and premium instant ticket offerings.
