U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team Parade Outfit collection is available for sale, along with an assortment of the athlete village wear pieces for men, women and children.
"The U.S. Team apparel is the first of many of the competing National Olympic Teams' replica uniforms that will be launching at the Bay's Downtown
Vancouver
store," said Mark Kinnin, vice president, global sourcing and Olympics for the Hudson's Bay Company. "We know the U.S. Team apparel is going to be very popular and so we were eager to make it available as soon as possible."
The U.S. Team apparel has a distinctly vintage feel. Items in the collection available at the Bay are in the U.S. national colours of red, white and blue and include the iconic shawl-collar sweater with antique buttons planned to be the US Team's closing ceremony parade outfit. In addition, long-sleeve T-shirts with bold graphics on the chest, as well as white warm-up jackets with red and blue stripes down the sleeves are all part of the Olympic Village athlete wardrobe.
