Porsche Cars Canada appoints new Sales and Network Development Directors

Veterans to take on new roles in the brand's Canadian operations in September

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 2, 2016 /CNW/ - Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Illner to the role of Director, Sales effective September 2, 2016. For the past five years, Illner held positions as Network Development and After Sales Director for Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. He will carry the torch from incumbent Trevor Arthur, who accepted an exciting new role with Porsche Cars North America as their Vice President, Area West.

The brand here in Canada also welcomes Scott Winhold as its new Director, Network Development, effective the same date. Winhold brings to PCL a wealth of relevant experience. He joins from Kia Canada where he had been Director of Sales. Prior to that, he held various Network Development and Sales roles with BMW Group Canada as well as General Motors Canada.

Porsche Cars Canada, an independent subsidiary of Porsche AG, imports and distributes Porsche vehicles in Canada. The company employs a team of 36 in sales, aftersales, finance, marketing, and public relations. Last calendar year, Porsche sold an unprecedented 6,413 units in Canada, up 30% over 2014.
