Porter Airlines growing to 11 daily roundtrips on New York-Toronto City route
TORONTO, Aug. 10 /CNW/ - After finalizing approval for four additional slots at Newark Liberty International Airport, Porter Airlines will operate 11 daily roundtrip flights to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, beginning Sept. 20. The airline currently operates nine daily roundtrips.
"Greater New York has been an important, popular market for Porter since we began service in March 2008 with seven daily roundtrips," said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. "Adding capacity at this time fits well with our growth plans."
Connecting service via Toronto with many of Porter's other Canadian destinations will also improve by adding more flight times throughout the day. The new flights are available for purchase.
