TORONTO, July 18, 2013 /CNW/ - Porter Airlines is increasing service between Timmins and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, with a fourth daily flight beginning Sept. 3.
This is the first service increase for Timmins, which launched in January last year with three daily roundtrip flights.
"Timmins has been a very successful market," said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. "We have provided competition, lowered fares and made it possible for more people to travel. An additional flight gives passengers more flexibility using this route."
Passengers can connect to Timmins with other Porter destinations in Canada and the U.S. via Toronto.
The new weekday schedule is as follows:
Toronto City departure times | Timmins departure times |
09:10 | 06:15 |
12:35* | 11:05 |
17:35 21:25 |
15:00* 19:30 |
Three weekend roundtrips are also available, with one Saturday flight and two Sunday trips.
