Porter inaugurates Montreal-Halifax route
Connecting St. John's service
TORONTO, June 25 /CNW/ - Porter Airlines introduced non-stop service between Montreal and Halifax today, with connecting flights to St. John's via Halifax. The service features two daily roundtrips.
"There is a lot of potential in linking two of Porter's leading markets," said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. "We have strong passenger bases in Montreal and Halifax, as well as St. John's, who now have new ways to travel with us."
A schedule of two daily roundtrips is available for the summer season until September 6. Following this date, the frequency adjusts to four weekly roundtrips in the fall. This service features one roundtrip flight on Thursday and Friday, as well as two on Sunday.
The new routing also makes available up to six daily flights between Halifax and Toronto via Ottawa or Montreal.
