Positive Northern Gateway Joint Review Panel recommendation is good for Canada

VANCOUVER, Dec. 19, 2013 /CNW/ - As proud partners and members of Canada's trade unions who represent the numerous men and women who help build our economy, we applaud the National Energy Board's Joint Review Panel's endorsement of the Northern Gateway Pipeline Project.  The Joint Review Panel's decision lays out a positive path forward to protect our environment and build the vital economic infrastructure we need to create family supporting jobs that are the foundation of a strong Canada.

This endorsement is good for Canada, good for resource development and will provide good Canadian and British Columbian jobs.  This endorsement demonstrates that resource development can occur while also protecting our environment.
