PostNet Announces First Integrated Support Centre In Metro Store

RICHMOND HILL, ON, Jan. 14 /CNW/ - PostNet, the Ultimate Business Support Centre, is pleased to announce the planned opening of the first PostNet location inside the Metro grocery store located on Appleby Line in Burlington , Ontario.

A recent study by Mezzanine Consulting showed that consumers and small business owners are busier than ever and looking for one-stop shopping solutions that simplify their lives. By integrating courier, mail and printing services into a Metro store it makes it even easier for people to perform several tasks in one convenient location.

"The store within a store model has been successfully proven in the United States ," says R.J. (Rob) Anderson, PostNet Canada CEO. "We've taken it up a notch by introducing graphic design and Xerox printing services in this smaller footprint to match the solution of our standard retail location."

The Burlington Metro location will serve as a test model for the store with a store model. The planned 460 square foot PostNet store will be conveniently located at the front of the Metro near the checkout counters. It will offer Purolator and FedEx shipping services, and be a Canada Post Authorized Business Centre.
