TORONTO, April 15, 2014 /CNW/ - This evening, Hydro One confirms a power outage affected the west end of Toronto. The cause of the outage is currently under investigation. Initial estimates were that 12,000 customers were affected by the power outage, but some power has already been restored. There are no injuries or health and safety issues reported due to the incident.
The estimated time of complete power restoration will be known once a full assessment is complete.
Hydro One will update as new information becomes available.
