ROSEMÈRE, QC, Jan. 5 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Due to power outages that persist in certain areas of the Rosemère territory, the Town of Rosemère wishes to inform the affected population that certain measures to help them have been put in place.
The Memorial Community Center, located at 202 Grande-Côte Road, is now open and will be open all night to residents without electricity, to allow them to warm up and take some rest. For citizens who plan to stay overnight, we recommend that they bring their belongings (blankets, pillows, etc.). Small "yoga" mattresses will be available (in limited quantities).
The library located at 339 Grande-Côte is also open at this time and will remain so until 9 p.m. this evening.
For any emergency situation, residents must call 911. To track these outages, citizens can visit Hydro-Québec's website at http://pannes.hydroquebec.com/pannes/ or call 1 800 790-2424.
We also invite you to visit the Town's various communication platforms, i.e., the website, Facebook page and Publemail, for the latest information.
