ROSEMÈRE, QC, April 9, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - According to the latest information we have received from Hydro-Québec, a number of residents will have to be patient, as electricity will not be restored until Wednesday. The Town of Rosemère wishes to inform residents who require overnight accommodations that they will be able to go to the Memorial Community Centre, 202 Grande-Côte Road, where the Red Cross will provide 50 camping cots, blankets and pillows. Microwaves and electrical connections are also available at the Centre. Please note that the community centre does not have any shower facilities.
"Residents who don't have family or friends nearby to accommodate them will be able to spend the night at the Community Centre in a warm and safe environment," stated Mayor Eric Westram.
