TERREBONNE, QC, Oct. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - PowerTech Corporation Inc. "Powertech" (PWB:TSX-V) announces the addition of a new distributor, J-Y Voghel inc., a supplier of specialized equipment for the recycling and environment industry, allowing them to offer their clients a complete and integrated solution.

In announcing the news, Mr. Carol Murray , President and Chief Executive Officer of PowerTech, stated: "We are pleased with this new agreement and the business opportunities now open to us through the combination of the PicBucket(R) and RUBBLE MASTER(R) crushers which are distributed by J-Y Voghel Inc. . By using the PicBucket(R) - a customized tool for concrete recycling applications - in combination with a RUBBLE MASTER(R) crusher, filler material can be produced directly at the construction sites, generating significant savings in handling and haulage costs, as well as considerably reduced turnaround times. Our company has, in fact, already validated this business model: as two recently-sold 5000-series PicBucket(R) units, including one sold through this new distributor, are currently being used with a RUBBLE MASTER(R) crusher, and the anticipated cost savings and operational gains have in fact materialized and are in line with our expectations."
