PowerComm Inc. Changes Name to PetroCorp Group Inc. and Appoints Officers

EDMONTON , Dec. 23 /CNW/ - PetroCorp Group Inc. (PCG:TSX); the Board of Directors of PowerComm Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed its name change to PetroCorp Group Inc. and began trading today on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the new name. The trading symbol will remain as "PCG".

In addition the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mr. Larry Patriquin has been appointed President and CEO of the corporation. The Board also appointed Mr. Randy Fries as interim CFO of the corporation.

The Board has appointed Mr. Patriquin as Chairman of the Board for the coming year.
