Pre-broadcast of documentary Lone Twin now available for view exclusively via the TVO Docstudio App for iPad
TORONTO, Feb. 1, 2012 /CNW/ - TVO announced today that the TVO Docstudio iPad App will feature an exclusive pre-broadcast opportunity to view the documentary Lone Twin. The TVO-commissioned film Lone Twin, by filmmaker Anna Van der Wee (The Dead Are Alive: Eyewitness in Rwanda), airs exclusively on the TVO Docstudio App, from February 1-12. The documentary will have its world broadcast premiere on TVO on Wednesday February 15 at 9 pm ET.
"We are excited to offer this new avenue for our TVO viewers to enjoy our exclusive high quality content," says TVO's commissioning editor Jane Jankovic. "Now TVO viewers can watch many of their favourite documentaries anywhere and anytime on their iPad."
In Lone Twin, filmmaker Anna Van der Wee asks the question: what happens when one twin dies? Having lost her fraternal twin brother in a tragic accident at age 20, Van der Wee takes audiences deep into the fascinating world of twins by revealing what twins can teach us about ourselves and our search for the perfect soul mate. Lone Twin is a moving journey into the nature of solitude, togetherness and the universal search for wholeness.
