REXTON, NB, Sept. 17, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Premier Tech announced today, in the presence of the Honorable David Alward, Premier of New Brunswick, and the Honorable Claude Williams, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, the opening of a new plant integrating the most recent technologies in the sphagnum peat moss industry. The expansion and modernisation of the plant follows the signing of a financial partnership agreement with Invest New Brunswick, for an amount totalling up to CA$1M, and of a refundable loan, of up to CA$1.5M, from the federal government, through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.

Representing a total investment of close to CA$5M, it will allow the deployment of manufacturing and commercial strategies while increasing Premier Tech Horticulture's sphagnum peat moss reserves in Eastern Canada.
