TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2013 /CNW/ - CTV's THE VOICE pushed the network over the top to win Night 1 of Premiere Week, preliminary overnight data from BBM Canada confirms. Backed by the return of coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green, THE VOICE was the most-watched program of the night Monday in Canada among A25-54 and A18-49, and delivered its biggest premiere ever with 1.8 million total viewers. THE VOICE powered CTV to win primetime overall Monday, leading Global among total viewers (+6%), A25-54 (+8%), and A18-49 (+10%).*

A closer look at Monday:
- THE VOICE saw double and triple-digit growth versus last fall's premiere among total viewers and key demos.**
- THE VOICE grew throughout its two-hour broadcast, delivering +5% (A25-54) and +10% (A18-49) more viewers in its second hour.
- Head-to-head between 8-10 p.m. THE VOICE delivered 16% more A25-54 viewers and 19% more A18-49 viewers than BONES/SLEEPY HOLLOW (Global).
- At 10 p.m., HOSTAGES premiered with a solid 1.2 million viewers.
All of last night's episodes on CTV and CTV Two are available across CTV's digital platforms on CTV.ca, the CTV App, the CTV Mobile channel and through video on demand partners such as Bell Fibe. Viewers who missed the season premiere of HOSTAGES can catch a special encore broadcast this Saturday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV.
Premiere week continues on CTV tonight with the series premieres of MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D at 8 p.m. ET/PT, THE GOLDBERGS at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and TROPHY WIFE at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
