TORONTO, Sept. 29, 2015 /CNW/ - With the first week of the Fall TV season now complete, the most up-to-date data available from Numeris confirms CTV is on track to once again deliver Canada's most-watched new and returning series. The preliminary data, which includes available playback, points to CTV's QUANTICO and BLINDSPOT as among Canada's most-watched new series, while THE BIG BANG THEORY and GOTHAM return as the most-watched scripted series in the country.
- With six days playback, CTV leads the Top 5, Top 10, and Top 20 most-watched television series among total viewers and all key demos among all networks.
- Following its premiere Sunday night (Sept. 27), CTV's QUANTICO delivered the largest overnight audience of any new TV series in Premiere Week with 1.8 million viewers, winning the night as the most-watched program on television in total viewers as well as A25-54 and A18-49.
- With six days of playback now available, CTV's BLINDSPOT is Canada's most-watched new television series among A25-54 (906,000) and A18-49 (878,000).
- CTV's new series BLOOD & OIL won its 9 p.m. Sunday night timeslot among total viewers (1.4 million) and A25-54 (535,000).
- For the sixth straight year, CTV's THE BIG BANG THEORY returns as Canada's most-watched television series with total viewers (2.8 million) and all key demos (including 1.3 million in the coveted A25-54 demo) with +6 data.
- All villains point to one of last year's break-out hits, CTV's GOTHAM pacing to be the week's top drama among all key demos with six days of playback data.
- CTV's THE AMAZING RACE CANADA is trending to land as the #2 program of the week with key demos A18-49 and A25-54, and #3 with total viewers.
