Press convocation - First Nations education: The Governor General called upon
by a First Nations delegation of chiefs, educators, parents and children
On this occasion, a delegation made up of Chiefs, educators, parents and children from First Nations will gather to deliver a message to Her Excellency, the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean. The Chiefs will also provide documentation on the situation of First Nations education in order to request her intervention with the federal government which, through its incompetence, is seriously compromising the future of First Nations children.
