Press invitation - An ambitious rooftop urban agriculture and solar power production project to begin in Candiac - A first in Quebec

CANDIAC, QC, Nov. 22, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to a press meeting covering the announcement of a first residential project for 148 houses equipped with cultivable roofs and solar panels, which will be made profitable. The City of Candiac is proud to support the implementation of this initiative, which is a first in Quebec. "In total, an area equivalent to two football fields will be consciously put to use rather than left neglected," said Mayor Normand Dyotte.

Examples of developments and a demonstration of Smart Pot geotextile containers will be presented to the press, who will also be able to visit a unit's roof to view the typical installation of six solar panels.
