Progress Receives Final Court Order for the Arrangement with PETRONAS
CALGARY, Aug. 29, 2012 /CNW/ - (TSX - PRQ) - Progress Energy Resources Corp. ("Progress") is pleased to announce that the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta has granted the final order approving the arrangement involving the acquisition of Progress by PETRONAS Carigali Canada Ltd. (the "Arrangement").
The completion of the Arrangement remains subject to approval under the Investment Canada Act (Canada) and the satisfaction of other usual and customary conditions. Progress continues to anticipate that the Arrangement will be completed by the end of September 2012.
