Street food trucks will be a fixture of Montreal's South Shore throughout the summer
ST-BRUNO-DE-MONTARVILLE, QC, April 8, 2015 /CNW/ - Promenades St-Bruno is pleased to announce that it has entered into a new partnership with the Quebec Street Food Association in order to provide its clients with a more comprehensive food offering. During the "En mode gourmand #bouffederue" event, which runs from April 2 to September 13, 2015, a variety of food trucks will be on the premises every day.
"We'd like to offer our customers a culinary experience that is both special and enjoyable. We're proud to be the first on the South Shore to provide a street food experience. For us, the "En mode gourmand #bouffederue" event is a unique opportunity for South Shore families to discover another facet of our culinary heritage," according to Marketing Manager Julie Morin.
"Our city takes great pride in supporting and facilitating this initiative," added Saint-Bruno mayor Martin Murray. "We believe in creativity and innovation, and we encourage them whenever we can. And we're the first city in the Montérégie to authorize food trucks!"
"The Quebec Street Food Association is very proud to take part in Promenades St-Bruno's innovative project. Our talented street chefs will bring a singular experience to a new clientele, and we're really pleased that Promenades St-Bruno has placed its confidence in us," noted Guy Vincent Melo, President of the QSFA.
The "En mode gourmand #bouffederue" event will be located outside, in front of entrance #2, between the Sears store and La Maison Simons.
