Glenn Mullan, President, Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), joined Orlee Wertheim, Head Business Development, Global Mining, Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange to open the market. PDAC's annual convention is taking place from March 5-8, 2017 at The Metro Toronto Convention Centre. With a membership of over 8,000, the PDAC's mission is to promote a responsible, vibrant and sustainable Canadian mineral exploration and development sector. The PDAC encourages leading practices in technical, environmental, safety and social performance in Canada and internationally. Since it began in 1932, the annual PDAC Convention has grown in size and scope. In 2016, the event included nearly 1,000 exhibitors and over 22,000 attendees from 125 countries, as well as numerous technical sessions, short courses, social and networking events.
