QUEBEC CITY, Sept. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Following an oil spill incident on September 1 in Sept-Îles Bay, Environment Canada advises hunters not to consume birds showing black stains, with oiled feathers that stick together.
Environment Canada also requests that oiled birds not be handled, but be left in place. Anyone finding such birds should note their location and call 1-866-283-2333 to report it as soon as possible.
