Public Service Announcement - CF-18 firing exercises at Valcartier garrison

April 12 to 16 2010 and April 26 to 30 2010

VALCARTIER GARRISON, QC, April 11 /CNW Telbec/ - The Valcartier Garrison would like to inform the neighbouring population on the CF-18 firing exercises which will take place from April 12 to 16 and from April 26 to 30 2010 in the Valcartier Garrison shooting range.

The noise of shoot and aircraft movements may be heard during this time. All firing exercises will take place between 12:00 am to 11:00 pm.

CF-18 firing exercises are part of regular training for Canada's Air Force fighter pilots stationed at Bagotville. These exercises are generally held over short periods of time totalling approximately 12 weeks per year. All of the necessary steps have been taken to ensure that the exercises run smoothly and to minimize any inconvenience to residents in the surrounding area.
