QUÉBEC, Feb. 1, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The public of Quebec and the surrounding area is invited to the open house event of Her Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) Montcalm on 2 February from 9 am to 3 pm, at 170 Dalhousie St. in Quebec.
The goal of this day event is to inform visitors on the various trades available in the Royal Canadian Navy and the Naval Reserve.
Members of the ship's company will be giving demonstrations of what a Naval Reserve Division can do: navigation, small crafts manoeuvring, dives, naval communications, music, etc. Members will be happy to exchange words with the public and to answer questions.
This event is a good opportunity to learn more about the naval activities performed by reservists in the Old Port of Québec.
