The work will be carried out overnight in order not to interfere with regular train operations. Efforts will be made to keep noise to a minimum.
The work will be done in three stages including tie distribution, tie change-out and track surfacing, and tie pick-up. All work is scheduled to be complete at the beginning of November.
The work will begin just west of Prince of Wales Drive and finish just east of Highway 416.
