CHARLOTTETOWN, Nov. 9, 2015 /CNW/ - Veterans Affairs Canada invites you to an Open House in the atrium of the Daniel J. MacDonald building following the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Charlottetown Cenotaph.
Visitors will catch a glimpse of the work Veterans Affairs Canada does to serve and commemorate Canada's Veterans and fallen heroes. The Canada Remembers Chorus will perform while visitors browse the various displays.
Veterans' Week is a special time for Canadians to recognize and remember those who served Canada in times of war, conflict and peace support efforts. Learn how you can be involved by visiting Canada.ca.
This year, two Remembrance Chalkboards have been installed in Charlottetown for residents to share both who and how they are remembering this Veterans' Week. One chalkboard is located outside the Daniel J. MacDonald building on Grafton Street and the other can be found inside the atrium of the Daniel J. MacDonald building.
