Public voting now open for the GTA's best new home development: BILD's 5th annual People's Choice Award
GREATER TORONTO, March 9, 2016 /CNW/ - The polls are open and the public is invited to vote for the best new home development in the GTA.
BILD's 5th annual People's Choice Award will be selected through a public online voting process. Voting will occur until April 6. The winner will be announced at the BILD Awards on April 28.
Every year, the Building Industry and Land Development Association recognizes innovation and excellence in the industry through its BILD Awards program. Forty-eight awards will be presented to members who raise the bar in marketing, designing, planning and building new communities in the GTA.
As part of the annual BILD Awards program one special accolade is reserved for the People's Choice.
"This award recognizes the best new development project of the year in the GTA as chosen by the public and there is fierce competition for the title this year," said BILD President and CEO Bryan Tuckey.
Eight projects have been short-listed; four are mid/high-rise and four are low-rise projects. They are located throughout the GTA. Projects range from a townhouse development in Toronto's Queen West neighbourhood that is appealing to millennials, to a high-rise building with lobbies designed by a fashion icon, to a premier four-season resort on Lake Simcoe.
Visit www.bildpca.ca to see the full list of finalists, project names, the builders, a short description and images. Each visitor to the polling site is invited to cast one vote for the best new development in the GTA until the polls close on April 6.
BILD congratulates all of the finalists. The winners will be announced at the BILD Awards on April 28.
