Pure Multi-Family REIT LP Announces Contracts to Purchase Two Properties for US$24.6 Million

VANCOUVER, July 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Pure Multi-Family REIT LP ("Pure Multi") (TSXV: RUF.U) announced today it has entered into separate agreements to acquire two multi-family community apartment properties (the "Acquisitions"), comprising 408 residential units on a combined basis located in the Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex, for an aggregate purchase price of US$24,600,000.
Pure Multi intends to fund the Acquisitions with equity from its initial public offering that closed on July 10, 2012 and first mortgage financing of up to 65% of the purchase price bearing an anticipated weighted average interest rate of 3.65% per annum. The Acquisitions are expected to close by early September 2012 and are subject to customary closing conditions for transactions of this nature.
