Pure Multi-Family REIT LP Announces Passing of Co-Founder and Chairman

VANCOUVER, Sept. 9, 2013 /CNW/ - Pure Multi-Family REIT LP ("Pure Multi") (TSXV: RUF.U, RUF.DB.U) today announced the sudden passing of co-founder and Executive Chair, Darren Latoski.

Mr. Latoski fought a valiant battle with cancer and was active in his role with Pure Multi until his death. He was one of Canada's most successful young entrepreneurs and will be deeply missed by family, friends and colleagues alike.  Robert King, Lead Independent Director of Pure Multi, said: "We are deeply saddened to have to say goodbye to Darren.  His expertise and energy helped lead Pure Multi to its current success.  He was proud of Pure Multi's deep management teams in Vancouver and the United States and was looking forward to its continued growth."

Mr. King has been appointed as Pure Multi's Chairman.  Steve Evans continues as Chief Executive Officer of Pure Multi and will continue to be responsible for the implementation of Pure Multi's strategic growth and business plan.
