Pure Technologies Announces Additional Work In Mexico
CALGARY, Aug. 6, 2013 /CNW/ - Pure Technologies Ltd. ("Pure" or the "Company") (TSX: PUR) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Pure Inspection Technologies Mexico, S.A. de C.V., has been awarded two additional contracts representing new work in Cutzamala, Mexico totalling approximately $3.7 million. The new work is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2013.
Pure will supply, install and commission a SoundPrint® Acoustic Fiber-Optic ("AFO") monitoring system on a portion of a water pipeline system, adding to the previously installed equipment by the Company in prior periods. This work represents the third phase of a planned four phase installation program. With the new installation, Pure will continuously monitor over 100 kilometers of pipe on this major, water system which feeds treated drinking water to roughly 5 million people in Mexico City.
In separate work, Pure will undertake electromagnetic inspection on a separate portion of this water pipeline utilizing the Company's large-diameter PipeDiver® technology.
