Pure Technologies announces new contracts
CALGARY, July 6 /CNW/ - Pure Technologies Ltd., TSX-V: PUR, is pleased to announce today that it has recently been awarded contracts for a combined value in excess of $3 million. These projects include:
- Maryland Transportation Authority: Pure previously installed a SoundPrint(R) monitoring system on one of the two parallel Chesapeake Bay suspension bridges; the new contract is for the monitoring system of the westbound bridge and is a critical proactive measure. This major dual-span bridge connects the state's rural eastern shore region with the western shore region. - City of London, Ontario: The design and installation of SoundPrint(R) Acoustic Fiber Optic (AFO) monitoring system for a 20 kilometer prestressed concrete cylinder pipeline water transmission main. Design and planning is under way, and Pure will provide long term monitoring and technical support once the system is installed. - Plains Midstream Canada: Plains intends to enter into a contract agreement for the license to implement Pure's SmartBall(R) leak detection system. Plains Midstream is a leading provider of crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) transportation, gathering, marketing, storage, and terminalling services and manages over 4,800 kilometres of pipeline.
