Pure Technologies Announces New SmartBall(R) Licensee

CALGARY , Dec. 23 /CNW/ - Pure Technologies Ltd., TSX-V: PUR, announced today that Applus RTD, a leading international non-destructive testing and inspection company, has purchased a license for Pure's SmartBall(R) water leak detection system for the Benelux countries ( Belgium , Netherlands and Luxembourg ). This is the third SmartBall(R) license sold this year, following similar commitments from Mouchel plc for the UK and Ireland , and Rand Water Services for Southern Africa .

Commenting on the development, Mike Wrigglesworth, Pure's Vice President for the Middle East and Africa , stated that this new license agreement was an indication of the increasing acceptance of SmartBall(R) as an effective and cost-efficient leak detection system for trunk mains.
