Pure Technologies Awarded New Baltimore County Engineering Services Contract
CALGARY, Jan. 27, 2014 /CNW/ - Pure Technologies Ltd. ("Pure" or the "Company") (TSX: PUR) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pure Engineering Services Inc., has been awarded a new engineering services contract by the Baltimore County Department of Public Works ("DPW"), Maryland. The contract is valued at up to USD$2 million over a two year period with an option to renew for an additional two years.
Under the contract, Pure will provide inspection, condition assessment and risk evaluation services for DPW's large-diameter, prestressed concrete cylinder pipes on an on-call basis. The technologies to be utilized during the contract period include the Company's patented PipeDiver® and PureRobotics® inspection platforms, among others.
The Company has been working with DPW in a sewer force main (pressurised sewer pipeline) assessment program since 2011. Further information on prior work can be found using the following link:
