Pure Technologies Awarded New Work Worth Up To $4.1 Million
CALGARY, Nov. 7, 2012 /CNW/ - Pure Technologies Ltd. ("Pure" or the "Company") (TSX: PUR) is pleased to announce new work from a number of regions for a combined value of up to $4.1 million. The work associated with these projects includes pipeline inspection, condition assessment and specialized engineering services for water and wastewater pipelines. The awarded work is as follows:
- Jason Consultants ("Jason"), a member of Pure's Engineering Services Group ("PES"), has been awarded new work to provide condition assessment and inspection services for a selection of critical sewer force mains owned by a client in the southeastern United States. The project will serve as the basis to develop a full condition assessment program involving all force mains within the client's extensive water system.
- The PES group, through Pure's Openaka subsidiary, has been selected in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, for the development of a condition assessment program for critical large-diameter water transmission mains in support of the client's asset management program.
- Pure's subsidiary, Aqua Environmental Pty Ltd. ("Aqua"), has been awarded new work in Christchurch, New Zealand for leak detection and water loss management following the devastating earthquakes in 2010 and 2011 which resulted in significant underground infrastructure damage.
- Pure has been awarded new work in Greece to perform an electromagnetic and visual/sounding inspection on a critical water pipeline as an alternative to replacement.
