("Pure" or the "Company") (TSX: PUR) announces that it will deliver a presentation today to a group of operational research and management experts on the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority's ("DC Water") pipeline asset risk model. The machine learning model is based on available pipeline attributes and designed to prioritize future inspections allowing DC Water to manage their water pipelines with the lowest financial impact.
Craig Daly and Kate Zhao of Pure will present at Analytics 2017, hosted by the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences ("INFORMS"). INFORMS is the largest society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research, management science, and analytics. Firms attending Analytics 2017 include Amazon, Boeing, IBM and other major technology and analytical companies. Selection to present at Analytics 2017 serves as validation of Pure's advancing engineering services capabilities in delivering its Assess and AddressTM approach to utilities worldwide.
