Qtrade Investor betters the banks with new online brokerage commissions
$8.75 and $6.95 trading commissions are lowest among Canada's major online brokerages
VANCOUVER, Sept. 26, 2014 /CNW/ - Qtrade Investor is rolling out the lowest commissions among Canada's bank and credit union online brokerages.
Effective at market open this morning, a flat rate commission of just $8.75 will apply to equity trades on Qtrade's award-winning platform for all investors, regardless of the size of their account or how frequently they trade. For investors who trade more frequently or have higher account balances, commissions go down to $6.95 per trade.
