Quality Craft Home Décor announces voluntary recall on one model of electric
fireplace sold in Canada

SURREY, BC, Nov. 5 /CNW/ - Quality Craft Home Decor is voluntarily recalling one model of electric fireplace as some units were found to have mould growth on the MDF panels. This action is being taken as a precaution. Mould growth was likely due to excessive humidity during transit. Exposure to mould can cause health effects in some people. The most common effects are allergic responses from breathing mould spores. To date, there have been no consumer complaints regarding this issue.

Model: SRM9312628DC (dark chocolate colour)
UPC: 067472131540
Sold through Canadian Tire Stores between Oct. 4, 2010 and Oct. 26, 2010.
