/R E P E A T -- 2,000 scouts on Parliament Hill - Press Invitation/

Over 2,000 young people from 81 countries will gather on Parliament Hill in Ottawa for the official opening of the 14th World Scout Moot.

MONTREAL, Aug. 6, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Association des Scouts du Canada is pleased to invite all media representatives to attend the formal opening ceremony of the 14^th World Scout Moot, that will take place on August 8^th at 8:30 am on Parliament Hill, in Ottawa.

This huge gathering of Rovers Scouts aged between 18 and 26 will bring together more than 2,000 participants coming from 81 different countries. During their trip, the participants will do all sorts of outdoor activities at Awacamenj Mino's park, located 75km north of Ottawa. Scouts will also visit one of the great cities of Montreal, Quebec or Toronto to experiment an urban project.

We would be delighted to have you with us for the opening ceremony. This event will probably change the lives of those youngsters who came as far as from Cameroon, Libya, Venezuela, Oman or United States of America!
