TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2015 /CNW/ - On Saturday, September 26, 2015, members of Toronto's Black communities and their allies will rally and march as part of the 35th annual Take Back the Night. Under the theme #AllBlackLivesMatter, hundreds will gather to march against sexual, gender-based, and Police violence, and specifically highlighting violence experienced by Black Trans Women, Black sex workers, Black LGBTQ people. They will be joined by Patrisse Cullors, the Los-Angeles-based founder of the Black Lives Matter movement.

This rally and action is organized by Black Lives Matter – Toronto, a coalition of Black community members, activists, youth, students, and professionals, and the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre/Multicultural Women Against Rape, a non-profit feminist organization committed to fighting violence against women and children.
