/R E P E A T -- Advisory/Photo Op - Architect Will Alsop in conversation with Christopher Hume: The Sharp Centre for Design and beyond/
TORONTO, Nov. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the iconic Sharp Centre for Design, OCAD University is pleased to present a free public discussion between renowned British architect Will Alsop and Christopher Hume, urban issues and architecture columnist for the Toronto Star.
With its pixelated tabletop shape supported by brightly painted steel legs, Alsop's structure has become a Toronto landmark. Noted by the BBC, CNN, Architectural Digest and other media as one of "strangest," "most beautiful" and "gravity-defying" buildings in the world, it signaled a change in Toronto's architectural landscape.
