new Cartierville Y centre/
MONTREAL, April 22 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the media are invited to attend the inauguration of the brand new Cartierville Y centre on April 24, at 11:00 a.m. A number of dignitaries will be in attendance for the official opening of this state-of-the-art and innovatively designed centre. With its modern facilities such as a double gymnasium, a 25-metre pool, a conditioning room, multi-purpose studios for group classes, and a daycare to name a few, this fitness and community centre is an asset to the neighbourhood. The first facility of its kind, the Cartierville Y centre meets some important needs of the community and will surely improve the quality of life of the neighbourhood and its residents.
Representing an investment of 22.8 million dollars, the Cartierville Y centre is the result of a partnership between the government of Québec (ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport), the City of Montreal, the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville, and The YMCAs of Québec.

Note that on April 24 and 25, everyone is welcome to take part, free-of-charge, in all of the fitness and community activities offered by the new YMCA, and to try out the fitness facilities as part of the celebration of the centre's opening.
