/R E P E A T -- Annual Remembrance Day ceremony - Mayor of Beaconsfield as guest of honor/

MONTREAL, Oct. 27 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Wednesday November 11^th 2015 at 11:00am, the Last Post Fund is holding their annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the National Field of honour located at 703 Avenue Donegani in Pointe-Claire.  Special performances by a local choir will take place to mark the 100^th anniversary of the poem 'In Flanders Field' written by Major John McCrae.  The guest of honour this year is Mr. Georges Bourelle, mayor of Beaconsfield.  Children are encouraged to lay poppies beforehand as part of the 'No stone left alone' educational initiative.
