BURNABY, BC, March 15 /CNW/ - To mark tonight's new moon, Best Buy, Canada's fastest growing retailer and e-tailer of consumer electronics, computers and entertainment products, is announcing the launch of the highly popular and much anticipated Twilight New Moon on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at midnight openings nationwide, excluding Quebec.
New Moon is the second installment of Stephanie Meyer's immensely popular vampire novel series and the direct sequel to Twilight. Attendees of the launch parties are encouraged to dress up as one of the three main characters from the Twilight series - Bella, Edward or Jacob - for the chance to win a $200 gift card (three will be awarded per store).
Exclusive for Best Buy Canada customers, collector's metal tins with Edward action figure will be available in limited quantities while supplies last for Blu-ray and DVD.
Midnight openings for Twilight New Moon will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 12:01 a.m. for approximately one hour at all Best Buy Canada locations, except for Quebec.

From 9 p.m. through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 launch parties will be held at the Cambie Best Buy store in Vancouver, the Heartland store in Mississauga and the South Edmonton store. Launch party activities include:
