/R E P E A T -- Bonaventure Expressway: Closure in both directions at
Pierre-Dupuy Avenue/
LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 14 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce the continuation of major maintenance work on the Bonaventure Expressway, involving two complete closures of this highway in both the east and west directions, (Scenario C) up to Exit 2 (Pierre-Dupuy Avenue) with the following schedule:
- Thursday, September 16, 10 PM to Friday, September 17, 6 AM: Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway - eastbound (towards Champlain Bridge) and westbound (towards Downtown Montreal) at Exit 2 (Scenario C - see the map). Note that two out of three westbound lanes (Downtown) will be closed as of 9 PM. - Friday, September 17, 11 PM to Monday, September 20, 5 AM: Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway - eastbound (towards Champlain Bridge) and westbound (towards Downtown Montreal) at Exit 2 (Scenario C - see the map). Note that two out of three westbound lanes (Downtown) will be closed as of 9 PM.
Note that major work on the L'Île-des-Sœurs Bridge will be taking place on the same weekend, and will have a significant impact on the Bonaventure Expressway over the weekend. Traffic risks being heavier in the Pierre-Dupuy Avenue sector.

Scenario C ---------- Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway - eastbound (Champlain Bridge) and westbound (Downtown Montreal) at Exit 2, including: 1. Closure of the access ramp by Wellington Street 2. Closure of one southbound lane of two on Pierre-Dupuy Avenue and one northbound lane on Des Irlandais Street.
