OTTAWA, Oct. 17, 2013 /CNW/ - CBC/Radio-Canada will be hosting its Annual Public Meeting (APM) live from the Glenn Gould Studio at the Toronto Broadcasting Center, October 23rd at 11:30 a.m. (ET).
The event will be broadcast live online at http://www.cbc.radio-canada.ca/apm
Chair of CBC/Radio-Canada's Board of Directors Rémi Racine will join president and CEO Hubert T. Lacroix and vice-president and CFO Suzanne Morris to present the highlights of 2012-13. This will also be an opportunity for the public and stakeholders to hear about the Corporation's direction for the future.
A highlight again at this year's APM will be the panel discussion with CBC/Radio-Canada radio hosts. The topic for discussion will be Today's Radio: Broadening our conversations featuring Matt Galloway, Host, Metro Morning, CBC Radio One; Rebecca Makonnen, Host, Circuit Makonnen, Espace musique; Steve Patterson, Host, The Debaters, CBC Radio One; Jean-Sébastien Bernatchez, Host, L'heure du monde, ICI Radio-Canada Première; and Anna Maria Tremonti, Host, The Current, CBC Radio One.
The event will be co-emceed by CBC's Mark Kelley and Radio-Canada's Catherine Lafrance.
Hubert T. Lacroix will be available for a media scrum following the event.
